Rientola Settlement will open its 80th anniversary with a memorial unveiling ceremony, speeches, a band and open doors.
The anniversary year will be kicked off with a memorial unveiling ceremony in the tower yard at 11:30, where the opening speech of Pasi Mäkinen, the chairman of the Rientola Settlement Association, will be heard. The memorial unveiling speech will be given by the mayor of the city of Tampere, Kalervo Kummola. The festive atmosphere of the event will be enhanced by music performed by the Rientola Brass Band. The event will continue with open doors at the Rientola Centre from 12-15. Come and explore Rientola's premises, activities and history!
