Tampere is looking for the world’s biggest Moomin fan – The winner will be invited to Moomin Museum as a Guest of Honour!
The city of Tampere in Finland has started looking for the biggest Moomin fan in the world. In an Instagram video competition, the winner will be invited to Tampere and the Moomin Museum for some VIP treatment and fun activities in August 2018. The campaign is organized by Moomin Museum, Visit Tampere and Moomin.com.
The biggest Moomin fan will be selected amongst Instagram videos uploaded with the hashtag #moominmuseumguestofhonour. The hopeful winners are expected to convince the jury that they are the deserving Guest of Honour with a fun and personal video. The winner will receive a 5-day trip for two to Tampere and the Moomin Museum, staying in a deluxe room at Lapland Hotels Tampere. As a highlight, the winner will be a VIP guest at the Moomin Museum Garden Party on August 11th.

The new Moomin Museum opened in Tampere Hall in June 2017. The museum has attracted already almost 100 000 visitors from around the world, especially from Japan, Russia, UK and Germany.
